Hollywood Glamour

I’m a huge fan of old fashioned Hollywood glamour, so a store dedicated to the cause was an immediate enticement for me. This lovely boutique contains all the best of vintage garments, a make-​up studio worthy of a goddess, and a jewellery and accessory selection to rival royalty.
The make-​up studio specialises in providing makeovers to women and girls (not matter what age they are) for any occasion. Whether it be a wedding or a fancy date, this is the place to head to get glammified.
They use the best products (I’m talking MAC, Chanel…) to achieve spectacular results.
Providing many different packages, the Hollywood Glamour make-​up with eyelash extensions was my choice (£30.00).
Basically, they cater for pretty much every aspect of important aesethic!
And I’m a major fan because they run according to Coco Chanel’s mottos.

If you want to feel like Marilyn Monroe one of the classic stars of the Golden Age and crave that real Hollywood look, then search no further than Hollywood Glamour.
You don’t need to go anywhere else; in here is a vintage boutique full of stunning sequinned evening wear and elegant floor length gowns, a make-​up studio and hair and nails all taken care of too.
They also have a selection of hand made vintage hair bands and some gorgeous brooches and hair pieces that will make your look really stand out!
I’d say it’s perfect for that special occasion if you want everything taken care of no fuss. Weddings and proms are a definite here and the two sisters who own HG will make you feel right at home.

Remember the sequinned dresses, silver ear-​rings and jackets with shoulderpads that Krystle and Alexis Carrington used to wear in Dynasty?
Well, if you get your ass over to Hollywood Glamour you should be able to find everything to recreate one of their outfits. Run and owned by a fashion lover inspired by Hollywood’s Golden Era, they stock vintage dresses, jackets, playsuits, jumpsuits and accessories. They also offer a full make-​up studio where you can get your face or nails painted by a professional.
Open Monday to Saturday, Hollywood Glamour is also open on Sunday by appointment only. I’m sure there’s lots of ladies in Liverpool that fancy a bit of HG treatment. Unfortunately, I’m not one of them.
