Kay Nelson

I visited Kay Nelson on the Wavertree road as my girlfriend was looking for something special to wear to a family wedding and she wanted t try somewhere different and local. Kay Nelson does not look great from the outside but we decided to give it a go nonetheless.
Inside the staff were very friendly and welcoming and were also forthcoming in trying to help my girlfriend find what she wanted. There was a wide choice of dresses ect and some which were specifically suited to guests at wedding which I thought was impressive. As well as this there were various summer classics such as maxi dresses which seem to have taken Liverpool by storm. My only problem with Kay Nelsons was that the place felt outdated and as though it should have been around twenty years earlier. The styles seemed suited to older women and I don’t feel as though this place would be a big hit with the student crowd.
On the whole this is a well run establishment but one which feels a little bit out of place in this modernist consumerist culture.
