There aren’t many times that I say things are superb. This is one of them.
I’m currently staying in Liverpool and stumbled on this place after being close to the park and wondering around all the shops and malls. I was going to eat elsewhere until I got this really great smell of Italian food.
I tracked it down to this gem and was so glad I did.
I started with the bruschetta as a starter (appetizer) and loved it. Perfectly seasoned bruschetta with a thick slice of ham underneath.
For my entrée, I tried the pizzw. While I was waiting, I saw some other folks had ordered the burgers and just looking at them made my mouth water. I didn’t have them, but the presentation alone was a winner.
So the pizza arrived and it was a cheese pizza with different cheeses as well as some prosciutto style ham. Now, word of caution. I have some of the world’s best pizza places in my home town. Presidents and dignitaries from around the globe visit my area for pizza because, it’s that good.
This, hands down was the best pizza I have ever tasted. Apparently, it’s a family owned restaurant with real authentic Italian cooks and recipes. I asked the host, who is from Italy, and he said the pizza here is just like back home. I can see why Italy is known for their food.
I was stuffed but hard to say no to dessert. So I had their version of chocolate lava cake and again, super impressed. You could taste that nothing was frozen and everything was fresh and freshly made.
He said they had recently opened a few months ago, and let me tell you. If you don’t stop here on a visit, you are missing out on an absolute winner.
Yes, it is really that good!
