I went to Moss Bros to rent clothes for my university formal (i go to LJMU). The lady was very kind and very helpful.
They sorted out the measurements and gave brilliant advice. They also offered a 10% student discount.
Any problems are also sorted out very swiftly and very professionally.
I definitely recommend this to Liverpool students looking to hire for a ball!

Moss is a lovely men’s store. I often purchase my father presents from here (last year’s huge umbrella, I’m talking marquee size, was sadly left in a restaurant… I’m admittedly awful at buying gifts).
Aside from anecdotes, Moss is a high-​end retailer and a suit specialist. With a versatile range on offer, you can find some great pieces in here. You can hire if you don’t want to splash out, although suits are definite investments. In fact, Moss are the nation’s leading formal wear hire specialist. You can book appointments with the retailer.
Staff are really friendly (and quite attractive).

Moss is located alongside Giancarlo Ricci in Bold Street and follows suit (get it. Suit) in a similar fashion! This is another high-​end shop for menswear and in particular, suits.
There is a terrific range of different designer suits available (such as Ventuno, Peter Werth and Hugo Boss). Friendly staff are also prepared to assist you and seem very attentive.
Whilst you cannot find a cheap suit here, you can find great quality ones that come at high prices around £200 to £300. If you are ready to pay for a suit at these prices, visit Moss otherwise run away!

Moss offer a huge range of branded suits to match any occasion. There prices are extremely competitive and if you can fit into a suit of the shelf then its worth a look.
the suit hire service is very good if you don’t want to splash out on your own suit.
However i was less than impressed with the service, the staff seemed hurried and were unable to provide too much assistance in what was quite an expensive purchase. I would have liked more help from the staff and struggled to get my head around the vast range unaided.
