As with the other Pillar Box shops(there are a few), this is a good place to find a slightly more unique gift than you would find in most chain card shops. While you will find the usual cheap plush bears, glass ornaments, and standard greeting cards, you will also find some unusual items. I spied some cute plush toys I don’t remember seeing before(and they didn’t look like cheapo pound store toys either), as well as some different greeting cards. Definitely worth a poke around if you need a card or a gift.

Pillar Box Cards is a really cute card store which doubles up as a post office. With a tidy and organised aesthetic it’s a great place to visit when you’re in need of some cards and gifts. The range of present-worthy offerings in here isn’t as vast as it may be in a solely gift-orientated store, but Pillar Box is a versatile shop, which means if you need to pick up a last minute gift, complete with accoutrements, and post it, then you can do so here. Doing all these time-consuming things in one store is much more convenient. Everything is nicely displayed and the staff are very amiable. A handy store.

Pillar Box Cards is an excellent little independent card shop. Although it is small it has an excellent range of cards and gifts for all occasions and budgets. They have a great range of toys, ornaments, balloons, mugs, picture frames and much more. The prices are reasonable, certainly cheaper than some other branded card shops in the area. There is also a post office counter within the shop which is very useful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always greet you with a smile.

Pillar Box Cards which is based along Allerton Road, is an ideal spot for locals to purchase cards and gifts. There is an abundant variety of items such as shiny glass ornaments, luxury cards and much more decorations to add to your mantlepiece or windowed cabinet. It all makes good browsing. So, if you’re lucky enough to bump into something you like, it definitely isn’t shy of quality hence providing a perfect gift or individual treat(why not). In addition, there is a small post office at the rear of the shop which is convenient for a busy area like Allerton. As a whole, the shop combined with post office is quite small and stuffy but is far from doom and gloom.
