The Young Persons Advisory Centre is a great idea, it lies right in the heart of the city centre, just 30 seconds away from the entrance to the Adelphi Hotel, all the major bus stop sand Lime Street Station. It’s basically a place where all young people in Liverpool can go for advice and counselling, they can also use the YPAC to partake in a number of activities that help to build up communities and individual strengths. They advise on a number of issues including drug misuse, alcohol, sexual health and relationships and depression/anxiety issues. I think this can be used as a drop in centre for advice or as a pre booked meeting for counselling. I think it’s a great and a positive thing to have in the city as some children and young adults just don’t get the mentoring that they need from their parents, and it’s nice to know that they can get it elsewhere if they feel the need!
