This is a great little café/​retro designer furnature shop near the canal.
The furnature is cool, if you are looking for some random pieces or inspiration, this place may fit.
The coffee is good and they sell cakes and treats.
Free Wifi — which is excellent and very pleasant staff.
Atmosphere is chilled out, Saturday/​Sunday feeling.

Great selection, but rude staff. I can think of a few other places to go where at least they’ll want my business. Really inexcusable the way they treated me and my wife when we were in there looking to completely furnish our new house from there. They lost at least several thousand pounds in sales from us.

This place gets 5 stars for a number of reasons.
The Furniture:
Retro, well designed and sometimes whimsical and humourous. The owner is also handy so every piece goes through him first for improvements. Not everything in here is my style but it all has wonderful personality. I especially love the illusionistic pieces that play with light, glass and reflection such as the mirrors and coasters. It has the greatest variety in lighting and is certainly a destination for interior decorating.
The Food:
The owner’s partner makes all the cakes and baked goods. They are absolutely modest in advertising how good these deserts are. The cakes can be experimental with their flavors as well as traditionally solid.
The Service:
Excellent. They are there to help you with anything, and explain anything. The space is set up comfortably and to be used by everyone.
The Cat:
His name is Ed, and he traipses around the store/​café. He has a lovely disposition.

Like so often I jumped on a random bus… on my way to nowhere… all of the sudden I spotted this furniture store/​café from my prime seat in the double-​decker and immediately rang the bell for the bus to stop…
Turns out there’s free wi-​fi and the atmosphere in the store/​café is also pretty cool. The only downside was that it was rather cold inside, but a cup of hot tea warmed me up sufficiently…
I have to find I am quite please with myself to have found this random café.
