Ability Plumbers

Avoid it!!! On their website, it says there is no call out charge, free quotes, but when they came for the gas certificate and a boiler repair, they didn’t do the job, claiming that they needed a part for the repair. They charged me almost £200 for not doing the work they came for, expecting me to rearrange another appointment for £200 and about another £200 separate payment for a diverter valve to be bought. Who knows what other excuses they will make next time. This means that such a simple repair job that can be done in one visit will cost me almost £600 if I continue using their services! So far, they received the payment of about £200, but the boiler is still leaking and I did not get any gas certificates either.
A local plumber charges £170 including parts and he can do it in one visit (he didn’t charge for the quote). Compare £170 with about £600 that Ability Plumbers is charging?
So, always shop around and don’t get ripped off!
