Actually located on Regency Street, this is a haven for taxi drivers as the taxi café and toilets are located nearby, as well as Home Office and Channel 4 workers just round the corner.
Opening just after 7.30am and closing at about 6, Adriano’s is staffed by three barbers who offer quick, decent and no-​frills service. Want the latest cool cut? Probably best to go somewhere else. Want a decent haircut? You could certainly do worse than here — I’ve never come away being anything less than pleased.
The older gentleman (Adriano himself?) put me at ease so much that last time I almost fell asleep, as he’s obviously been doing what he does for years! Prices come in at under a tenner, which is great value as well. Certainly recommended if you’re nearby.
