The Aksu is a great local eatery serving Kebabs, Turkish stews and soups as well as burgers and chips.
I enjoy the the stews they are based on lamb and chicken with varieties of vegetables, and vegetable stews and come with salad and bread. The kebabs, shish lamb and chicken, koftes and doner are of good quality and are served with same accompaniments as the stews. The staff are friendly and service is good. The stews are £5, kebabs prices vary. If you are in the area and in need of bite to eat, this is the place to go, recall seeing open one night at gone 3 in the morning.
