Bad coffee. Period.
I would have thought a dedicated coffee joint at Liverpool station with a queue should mean something, but no.

Tiny little booth, I was desperate for a drink after ridiculous delays thanks to a fire on the tube (as much as I hope moone is hurt, I’m going to be two hours late getting home, the joys!!)
I think chain coffee shops like this are overpriced, and I try to stick to independents, but the strawberry yoghurt shake was fab and the staff were pleasant, so can’t really complain!

Quick coffee, hot or cold. Pastries, a few wrapped things and a cooler with some sodas and juices and water. AMT is very handy for coffee on the run and I think it tastes way better than anything they sell at Starbucks.
This AMT is located in the main hall of the station between platforms 5 and 6.
I really recommend the Palomino. Two shots of espresso with some steamed milk in a very small (three ounce) cup. A perfect morning jolt. I also like the pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) but it’s very crumbly and the pastry falls everywhere as you eat it. Delicious, but not very good desk food. ;-)
