Amy Cleaning & Ironing

My cleaner decided to return back to her country so I had to look for another lady. My friend recommended this agency so I decided to give it a go. I wasn’t happy that I had to pay agency fee in advance but it was worth it. They allocated really nice lady for me who is on time each week, knows what she is doing and have can do attitude.
Staff in office is very professional and helpful. When my cleaner was off sick, they contacted me to inform me about situation and asked me if I require replacement. I was expecting my close family that week so I requested replacement cleaner. Lady who came was good.

I used AMY cleaning to cover my cleaner who was sick at short notice.
Good points they got a cleaner to me on the day and time i wanted at very short notice. The cleaner turned up on time.
Bad points, they charged the earth because I only wanted the cleaner to come once for 3 hours (to be expected I suppose), the cleaner arrived looking a mess (okay I know it doesn’t matter but it just didn’t look very professional and didn’t fill me with confidence) and did not speak English very well so it was hard to explain what I needed doing.
End result, an average job (not bad not good just average) that cost more than I would usually pay. I won’t rush back to use them again

I have been using Amy Cleaning for a couple of months now and I have to say that I am very impressed! My regular cleaner is thorough, friendly and completely trustworthy — I have no problem leaving her with a set of keys and can rely on her to lock up when she leaves.
Recently, my usual cleaner went on holiday and Amy Cleaning Agency were efficient in organising a replacement and informing me of the changes.
Overall, I really can’t fault the company.

I’ve used AmyCleaning for a couple of years. It’s all down to the individual cleaner you get and how you work with her. We have had a super cleaner who has now left.
The pain of dealing with the agency over the transfer, and the complete nightmare of trying to leave the contract (you will have to pay extra to have the cleaning service for a longer notice period) — even though the replacement cleaners have been rubbish.
The agency takes an extra 50% cut that doesn’t go to the girls, and which is for these times of transfer — making that operate smoothly. I’m afraid in my view they do not generate good value.

I think this cleaning company offers a very professional service for a very low cost. I joined them over 2 years ago know and have only had 2 cleaners.
The first cleaner left to go back to her country after being with me for about a year and I thought that the agency wouldn’t be able to find me another cleaner as good and as thorough as she was, but they did. In fact, I think the cleaner that I have now is even better than my last one. She does a really great job in my house and sometimes she stays longer than she has too just to get everything finished perfectly. She is also really good at ironing which is very important to me because I wear shirts to work and I can’t iron to save my life. Without her my house would be a tip.
A very good service and I’m very happy to recommend.

I’ve been using my cleaner from this company for over a year now and she’s excellent. She knows exactly what needs doing in my home and does a very professional job every week. I am most impressed with the fact that she pays attention to little deatails such as plumping up the cushions, such small touches really makes a difference. She is so much better than my old private cleaner I had before. When I get home from work I can definately tell that she has been there.
The agency staff are very helpful too. On one occasion they very quickly found me a replacement cleaner when my cleaner called up sick. The replacement was able to meet my regular cleaner to collect the keys and go clean my house that same day, which was quite a relief because I had guests that evening. She too done a fabulous job.
The replacement cleaners that the agency have sent me while my cleaners been away have always been very pleasant and cleaned to to a high standard. There was one issue when they sent me a cleaner who couldn’t speak english very well, but as she was only due to come for a couple of weeks it wasn’t really a problem. You can just leave a note out for them explaining what you need doing and they just get on with it.
What really attracted me to this agency was the fact that the cleaners are all vetted. Also you get insurance cover included in the price which really gives me peace of mind because I do have some expensive items in my home. I think the cost of the service is very fair considering the level of service you get. I even give my cleaner more money because she does such a good job.
Overall I think the service is very good, all the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommended the agency to my mum who now uses them and I’m happy to recommend to anyone.
