Angus Steakhouse

For the price, I expected more, and better quality.
The medium rare steak I ordered came to me as a medium, nearly done steak.
We felt rather ignored, but eventually got served.
All in all, it was fine. I have had better steaks for less, but I guess in the middle of London you can’t expect much.

Leider war mein Angus Beef (10 oz für immerhin 21., 50 GBP) mit so dicken Sehnen durchwachsen, das es wirklich nicht genießbar gewesen ist !
Die als Beilage extra und im o.g. Preis nicht enthaltene Portion Pommes, war somit die teuerste, die ich bisher gegessen habe.

Una buena opción en Londres para comer carne, el servicio es muy bueno. La comida muy decente, el precio como todo aquí es algo elevado pero venir a Londres y no pensar en gastar es como no haber estado aquí.

Service was great. Our waiter could tell we were from out of town and struck up a friendly conversation with us.
The steak on the other hand was NOT great. I ordered a filet and it was lacking! I actually had to add salt to it and I never salt my food. They offer sauces with the filet (at an extra cost) and I was unsure why because a good filet shouldn’t need any extra flavor but this one did. Also, for the price, I couldn’t believe it didn’t come with a choice of a side or two! Dang, 28 pounds for a lame piece of flavorless steak and nothing to accompany it! I’ve heard the food in England wasn’t up to par and this place proved it.

Had rib eye steak with Mac n cheese. Steak was good missing flavor. The Mac and cheese was delicious. The waiter was fun and nice.

Excellent experience in Piccadilly Circus ! Food was good and our waitress was very attentive and kind !

It’s ok. Had the fish and chips which were dry. Nats flying everywhere, and getting into several other tables wine. If it’s midnight, it’s food. Otherwise, skip it.

We arrived late on a Sunday night starved for something to eat. The setting was nice in the heart of Piccadilly Circus. The service was good. However the steak was bland at best. Overpriced for the quality of food. Would recommend going off of Piccadilly Circus to find a better restaurant for dinner

Nach dem wir das Michael Jackson Musical waren wir richtig hungrig, da wir beide Fleisch lieben, gingen wir ins erst beste Steakhouse.
Da der Hunger wirklich gross war, entschieden wir uns für die Vorspeise-​Platte die wir teilten, die war ganz ok. Danach nahmen wir ein Steak mit Pommes, dieses schmeckte ganz gut. Naja nun fragt ihr euch weshalb es nur 2 Sterne gibt. Der Grund dafür war der Kellner, sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt! Als er die Bestellung aufnahm schaute er uns nicht mal an, beim Servieren knallte er die Teller einfach auf den Tisch. Er kam nicht auf die Idee nachzufragen ob es denn schmeckt, als wir noch mehr zu trinken wollten mussten wir uns richtig anstrengen damit er uns bemerkt!
Da wir so unzufrieden waren, wollten wir ihm das zeigen indem wir lediglich 15 cent Trinkgeld liegen liessen. Da ich erst gerade aufgestanden war sagte er zu mir: «Was soll das? Ich brauch keine Charity». Und gab mir das Geld wieder zurück! Ich meinte dann nur: Sie sollten freundlicher mit den Gästen umgehen!
Das hat unserem Ego dann sehr gut getan ;-))

Angus is a beautiful and stylish steakhouse, but is also quite expensive.
I really liked their New York Strip, but for his cost is very tiny and the same can be sad for the vegetables served with the steak.
The fried sweet potatoes are very good and alone they deserve a star in the review!
The tables are very tiny and in my opinion there are too many tables for the restaurant. I literally was sit onto an other table.
The service was good, not obsessive, not absent. The waiters were friendly and nice, but not too much.

After watching Michael Jackson’s «This it it» Musical we were so hungry and it smelled so well outside of that restaurant that we decided to have dinner here.
The first impression was okay. Not very modern but typical american booths. We ordered the starter sampler to share starring buffalo wings, spare ribs and shrimps. The food was nice.
For our main dishes we got ourselves a nice Angus Steak with fries at the side. The meat was okay, but it was not the best steak I’ve had, not at all. And especially as it is an Angus Steakhouse I was very disappointed.
And then there was something else very, very bad: the waiter. He ignored us and came by himself very few times. He was very unfriendly, he didn’t even look at us when we ordered. The overall-​service was that bad that we decided to give a very small tip to show him our disappointment. And guess what: he rejected it! He didn’t need charity, he said. Well then…
This is an obvious tourist trap and I would have never eaten there If hadn’t been that hungry.

Tout simplement une déception total!!!
Plusieurs fois durant mon voyage à Londres ce restau très bien situé nous avais l’air appétissant, alors un soir, hop nous y sommes rentrés.
1ere impression plutôt chouette car la femme à l’accueil était très aimable, la déco sympa, mais une fois assis
Comme j’avais un peu de mal pour comprendre toute la carte et qu’il y avait un symbole sur la carte pour dire qu’elle était disponible en français, j’ai demandé gentillement si il était possible d’en avoir une en français, et là on m’a envoyé balader sèchement (le serveur aurait pu simplement me dire qu’il n’y en avait pas, sans me dire ça d’un ton)
Bön nous avons passer commande, alors l’attente était longue, mais les plats, les viandes très bonnes, les filets de bœuf énormes donc il né faut pas aimer la viande très cuite, elle sera toujours rosé vu l’épaisseur.
Mais durant tout le repas le serveur était désagréable, même quand il nous a apporté l’addition Bref, je n’y retournerais pas! Surtout que le restaurant n’est pas donné, alors si le service est mauvais (Nous avons pris notre dessert ailleurs pour né pas subir cette ambiance)
Et attention mesdames si vous voulez aller aux toilettes, c’est vraiment pas propres!

I was out with the girls on sat evening. I had a yummy 12 oz peppered steak which was cooked to perfection! But to top our night of, round about 10pm our eyes could not believe it but those yummy guys of the X Factor yes i did say the X Factor was also having a great night to.
What a Brill night!
