Mosaic Making Classes & Tile Making Classes — £10 an hour:
The classes are run by artists with over 15 years mosaic and ceramic experience who have a real passion for their art forms. The artists will inspire you to explore your creativity in a relaxed learning environment. These classes covers the basics as well as more advanced techniques — dive in at whatever level suits you! No experience required.
Children’s Arty Birthday Parties — from £15 per child:
Art4Space will provide a magical creative experience. The children will make their own piece of art work to take home and remind them of a fantastic party. The children will learn alongside professional artists and be inspired by our amazing community art centre. Themes include, Frozen and Super Heroes.
Adult Arty Parties — from £40 per person:
Mosaic or Ceramic Pamper Parties are the perfect alternative to celebrate with friends, whether it’s a birthday party, hen do or a wedding gift, all you need to do is book a date and let us take care of the rest.
Art4Space offers you the perfect opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a creative afternoon in a beautiful studio.
Participants will create their own mosaic as a perfect memento of your special day.

As well as running successful art classes and parties, Art4Space is leading Community Arts Organisation established in 1999 by a group of 3 experienced professionals to address social, education and health issues using the arts to inspire and strengthen communities. Over the years we have built up a strong level of trust, professional acumen and have demonstrated vast social impact. Art4Space work in several mediums including mosaic, painted murals, ceramic and landscaping. A playground mosaic may be made from textural mosaic materials, hoardings surrounding a building site used as a creative space or a community garden developed from wasteland. We are a not for profit Company Limited by Guarantee following a social enterprise model.
Meet the Business Owner
Julie N.
Business Owner
Julie Norburn graduated in 1996 with a BA (Hons) in Community Art and Education Studies, then qualified as a teacher gaining PGCE Primary with Arts specialism in 1997.
She has teaching experience with children and adults with varied needs and abilities in many community contexts. She has trained in counselling and therapeutic work with children and has extensive experience in lecturing and consultation. Julie has secured several fundraising bids.
Highly motivated in project management and highlights include Cow Parade, Brixton Tube Station and Peckham Youth Space. She has run several accredited training courses for young people and adults. She is an inspirational workshop leader for many festivals, including Thames Festival, Notting Hill Carnival and Sydney Mardi Gras.
Along with her freelance work, in 1999 she collaborated with Danielle Lees-Smith and Elinor Seath in establishing Art4Space — a hugely successful community arts organisation who have completed over 300 commissions.
