Wonderful. High quality Italian cooking at its simple best. Small and cosy, neighbourhood restaurant. Good unobtrusive service, for example they aren’t constantly trying to top up your wine or ask you if you’re enjoying your food. Honestly, I just love places like this and if it was on my doorstep I’d go once a week. Please don’t change the formula!

Wonderful modern Italian food, combining tradition and innovation. A tad pricey but great ambience and service. 5 stars for me!

Honestly simple good food. Ox tail ragu. Beautiful mozzarella. The food is simple and unique. Far better than anything you’ll find in Strada.

Amazing. Good. Simple. Food. What else do you need? I have not been dissapointed here once and I love how the menu changes. The only thing is they have become very strict with reservations and it’s a bit of a downer when you step in and the place is completely empty and they turn you away because it is booked up.

Consistently delicious, simple dishes that allow the ingredients to shine. You can’t wrong with with any of the starters and wines. The homemade ice creams are a perfect way to cap of the meal

I’ve been roaming around always looking for a fab italian and this place is the best in London. Great cocktails and a tiny bespoke fresh menu-​lovely stuff!

Without going on and on with various superlatives as the paid critics in London have about Artusi; I will say this… the food is really good.
Another great spot in Peckham and it is serving some excellent simple italian cooking, relying on fresh ingredients and seasonal produce. Its all pretty simple stuff, beef parpadelle, pesto linguine, shoulder of lamb, fried octopus.
The service was a bit patchy, at least at the start… asking for our order to be taken etc. I think they’ve got very busy all of a sudden post some excellent reviews. Anyway it picked up nicely and was no frills but attentive. Wine list was solid, a bit overpriced when compared to the prices of the food which are more than reasonable. They’ll do really well.
1 starter, 2 pasta dishes, one main and a bottle of red — £70 including tip.
Impressed.
