Asperity’s services help employees save money on their shopping, services and other employee benefits. Globally, the Reward Gateway benefits platform handles over $ 400m of employee spend.

History

Established in 2006.

Asperity Employee Benefits was established in 2006 by entrepreneur Glenn Elliott. The company quickly became successful and acquired competitor Bringme from Lloyds TSB Bank in 2008.

Asperity was acquired itself by private equity specialists Inflexion Private Equity in 2010 in a deal valued at £25.5m. Inflexion are funding and supporting Asperity’s further expansion into Australia and launch into USA.

Glenn E.

Manager

Glenn Elliott is founder and CEO of Asperity Employee Benefits. A serial entrepreneur with a technology and marketing background, Glenn was presented with an Ernst + Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2010.

Glenn now lives in New York from where he manages the group.
