Sold me an overpriced piece of furniture that was never fit for purpose– fell apart when used. Would not purchase anything from this place again.

A nicely curated antique(mostly 50’s-70’s) shop. Very little junk or pieces that should’ve died with their decade live here… just nice things the owners have picked up in their explorations, I’d assume. While I didn’t find anything that I «had to have» and some pieces seemed to be a bit extraordinarily priced(I can never tell if that is from the fact that we are in London, that I am still getting used to GBP or the sometimes sporadic pricing of vintage treasures and valuations — guessing a combination of the 3), and thus I did not adopt anything. Come for the shop dog, the stuffed eagle, the crazy German child polio braces, and do not forget to check out the basement and its nice selection of refurbished school chairs and dining chairs. It’s not a big place, but worth a stop in… you may just meet a piece you’ll make your soulmate.
