Bamboo Basket

I had food, it filled me up. Nothing more, nothing less.
Food was fresh, staff was surprisingly nice, but as a chain restaurant in a shopping centre, I can’t say I was amazed.
I had noodles with mixed vegetables for £9 which is waaaaay more than it deserved.

The dim sum was really good and I would give it more stars but unfortunately the rest of the dishes did not live up to the dim sum. The chicken clay pot was not really a clay pot. It was boiled rice with chicken pieces on top of it and was extremely dry and bland.
Would only go back for the dim sum.

I love Bamboo Basket, go there everyday for lunch since I work in Westfield. The food is gorgeous aswell, for food done so well so quickly I have to say it is the best in Westfield, plus there staff are all so friendly and helpful. If you like Dim sum well then this is the place you. And the price is fantastic aswell. I wish they had another branch like in westend, a place were people can book their celebrations, because i will surely do mine there!!!

This is a really nice quick service eaterie upstairs in Westfield — the seating area for all the quick service restaurants is very luxurious and modern. The food here is of Chinese cuisine, and as the name suggests, some dishes are served in baskets! I have really enjoyed the noodle dishes — they have both vegetarian and meat options. However, the food is very expensive — about £9 for a noodle dish. But it is delicious and is served on china with real cutlery, so it is good for a treat.
