Solidly my favourite spot to grab lunch when I’m working from home. Fantastically fresh paninis in a friendly, cosy spot with a great neighbourhood feel. I’ll be back… again and again! Ps full English looks amazing too!

The owner Luigi is really friendly and quick with serving the food. It’s located inside Roman Road Market, my favourite place to get good East End bargains especially fresh fruit, cheap.

Superb breakfast for £7 including coffee or tea. Two rashers of bacon, two eggs, two sausage, two toast, hash browns, beans, mushrooms… A little place but nice atmosphere. Good coffee, great on a market day. Very clean. Very friendly.

If you enjoy 80s synth and eggs benedict for only £4 in close proximity to your lightly damaged and heavily discounted French Connection finds on Roman Road, come check this place out.

I lived on Roman Road Market for 6 years so I have sampled a fair number of breakfasts along here. Barone is a refreshing edition to the road and very welcoming. They do an incredible full English for £4, including a cup of tea! The ingredients are quality too. I always judge a breakfast by the bacon and sausages and they are good! There’s also a good selection of other breakfast items, sandwiches, jacket potatoes etc. I now live 10 minutes away and it’s definitely worth the walk up Fairfield Road.

When I was in the neighborhood I saw this café and I wanted to go there. It looks cute from the outside, and their main draw seems to be the full breakfast, complete with coffee for less than 5 pounds. Funnily, staying there is a bit more lively than expected, which doesn’t mean that is a bad thing.

Recently moved from Shoreditch to Roman Road, this east end caff is a lovely addition to the area. My friend and I were looking for somewhere to breakfast while waiting for the market traders to get their wares together. The padrone is an enthusiastic cockney chap. We both had the full English breakfast. Tasty, well presented and a bargain at just £4!
