I confess I have not (yet) visited Berganza in person — however I have had the good fortune & extreme pleasure of dealing w/​this shop via email as well as phone, to acquire 2 exquisite treasures
After first noticing them through
, I went onto their proper website to see what else they might have to offer & was taken aback by their extensive & gorgeous selection
Initial email inquiries were addressed quickly and they were extremely patient and timely with my subsequent questions & requests for pictures. There was never any sales pressure and each communication kindly invited me to continue asking questions as often as I wished
Phone conversations were likewise a pleasure & they made it extremely easy to say YES
Berganza’s pricing is nonnegotiable — which I happen to appreciate — it is disclosed very subtly on their website and also inferred on the other sites, through which they offer their lovely pieces… I loathe haggling and find it easier to determine whether an item is worth additional conversations, if I am confident of its «best price»
And by working under their firm-​pricing structure, I am assured the price posted is indeed their best price
