Bad Bad experience!
I’ve been past a few of the B&B restaurants and always thought that they looked worth a visit. So tonight we tried the restaurant at 105 Glocester rd and boy were we disappointed. ;(
The fries were over cooked. we politely asked for some more that were not frazzled. and some more came quickly enough. unfortunately. the next bowl were almost as bad. The steak was also undercooked (I asked for medium well and it was medium.
The only saving grace was ‘Anna’ a manager who apologized and made sure we eventually got some decent fries. She was way too good to be working here.
That said, the actual waitress who served us wasn’t happy when we asked for new fries and was quite miserable in general.
This was our one and only visit to B&B and we will never be going back.

I’m not a big meat eater, and tonight I should have been. I had a asparagus salad that was really lovely, and some chicken wings that were dry, but ok, and a goat cheese salad that was just bland and boring.
I should have had a burger or a steak that night.
My husband had the burger and said that it didn’t taste like it was seasoned with salt or pepper that it was just plain. He wasn’t in love with it and so thats where I’m getting the ³⁄₅ stars from.
I’ll have to go again and get a burger for myself and i’ll update then.

Black & Blue is perfect for when I fancy a casual meal/​catch up with friends. It’s a family of London restaurants and the two that I normally go to, are this one and also the one on Kensington Church Street.
Located on Gloucester Road (just opposite Gloucester Road Underground Station), the interior is modern & stylish (think diner style) and the food delicious. For a menu go to:

The burgers are lovely and what I normally end up having is the all day breakfast (my mouth is watering thinking about it), the cost is roughly £10, but worth it, and I’m stuffed by the end :-)

I didn’t actually eat HERE, but my friend brought food back to the hotel after her work dinner. I had a burger, once again, do English people use beef in their burgers? If you’ve ever eaten a «Loco Moco» from «Ono Hawaiian» you know what I’m taking about, the texture of the beef is different, taste good, but something is off.
The ribs were the most delicious thing I have eaten in four days! It was actually flavorful without me having to add salt! If you are in London for a while and missed actual food, go here… or a McDonald’s (everything taster «right» here)

Excellent restaurant pour deguster de la viande rouge. Les plats sont servis sur des planches en bois avec des legumes varies varies. Une tres bonne cote d’agneau pour 18 livres, ou des travers de porc pour 12 livres. L’interieur est sympa, et les tables confortables !

In a country not exactly known for its cuisine, I didn’t feel too guilty having dinner here as it is an «American» style steakhouse and a chain at that. It was late, not much was open and the pub nearby reeked of cigarette smoke thanks to the group puffing outside the open doorway. But no excuse is really needed since my burger was delicious and my friend was happy with his steak. The «chips» were large and just crunchy enough. The service was prompt and efficient and I was glad I saved room for dessert. Not exactly a must when visiting London but it was pretty darn good nonetheless.
