This tiny little convenience store on Stoke Newington High Street is convenient indeed. Especially when you are in search of somewhere locally to send a fax from. Having fruitlessly tried the library, I found this little shop will send faxes for you. They sell stamps too, which is very helpful when the main post office further down the road has a queue as long as the Great Wall of China. Service is very friendly and efficient, and it’s nice to have someone serving who knows what they’re doing.(I’ve given up sending faxes from Hamdy’s opposite, as they charge you differently each time, and when you ask them why, they admit they don’t know how much to charge!!! Not that they bother to find out for next time.) There are lots of greetings cards in here too(of the cheesy ‘Darling Daughter’ and ‘Congratulations you are 5′ variety).
