+ Delicious food + Beautiful setting + Great value for money — No refills It took me a long time to decide where to book afternoon tea for my friend’s Birthday. I wanted to book somewhere luxurious that didn’t break the bank(Claridges and The Ritz look like the ultimate experience but very pricey!). So after a lot of reading I decided on Bond & Brook. The reviews I’d read where right, it’s a beautiful small restaurant, very quiet even though it is in the centre of things. There was a lot of food, we couldn’t finish the scones. There are no refills, but for us it didn’t matter. I asked for a refill of our tea pot, I could see the waitress was ready to launch into«we don’t do refills» before I’d even finished speaking! I ask if we could just have some hot and she obliged kindly. All in all great value for money.

I’m so glad that Zara introduced me to Bond and Brook. A place where tea is served in proper silver service, where there are comfy and«civilised» seating and more importantly, a legitimate reason for ignoring your tea partner as there are so many great fashion books. Obviously, if you are like us, you’d sit together in this peaceful corner and read the books together, but it equally makes a wonderful getaway from the hubbub of Oxford street. It is also quite reasonably priced and only a fiver was exchanged for hours of tea and chatting.

Absolutely love this little oasis in the middle of busy central London. Hidden on the second floor of the gorgeous Fenwicks department store, Bond & Brook is the perfect place to take a break from the hectic streets of Oxford Circus outside. Come to meet friends or to chill by yourself. You can sip tea served in lovely vintage silver tea pots and casually flip through Bond & Brook’s extensive library of fashion photography books. This place is both stylish yet casual and relaxed, and a great spot to catch your composure from the mental Black Friday/Shambolic Saturday chaos happening outside. There’s also afternoon tea, coffee, hot chocolate, desserts, cakes and cocktails, as well as more substantial breakfast and lunch meals on offer. A very lovely elegant café.

+ Hidden gem in central London + Always plenty of seats and quiet + The only place that is NOT packed with people + Nice selection of teas and sweets + Great place to catch up/relax This is a great hidden gem in central London. This is one of very few places in central London where you can actually sit down and relax. This place is never overcrowded, which makes it a great place to catch up with your friends, do some reading or simply sit back and enjoy your tea. All the things that you would expect from a café, basically. But alas, it is really hard to find such a place in Central London. I’ve only been for tea/dessert break. But they also do dining. They have free WiFi(from Fenwick, not from the café) too.

This is such a great place to catch up with your friends after a long day of shopping in Central London(I am talking to you shopaholics). It’s a hidden gem I discovered a few months back. Usually after hours of shopping I would go to Starbucks(or whatever else we could find) to relax but everything is always super crowded(thank you to the tourists). But that’s not the case with Bond & Brook. The food and drink is also amazing there.

For elegant afternoon tea in a central shopping location, Bond and Brook is great!
