Few months ago, heavy with a cold, I stopped at this stall, north end of the market to get a hot drink before boarding the tube. When I found I had no cash, the lovely owner insisted on giving it to me free, most kind of him. I made a note to return, when next in the neighbourhood to sample his fare. So glad I did, the falafel was delicious. You can add aubergine and no extra cost, and at £3 was a fantastic value. £4 if you want a big one. They also do shawarmas and samosas. Chatted with a couple at the small table you can sit at, they said they came every week to eat there. You could see the owner was well known and liked by the locals flocking to eat at his modest stall.
