I wasn’t a big fan, but I probably didn’t order the right thing: a brie sandwich. It was on the menu but I didn’t realize that this would come plain, with no offer of toppings or toasting. Not terrible, but very boring. The man at the counter, quite possibly the owner, was very rude to me when I didn’t know where to order or how the system there worked, but as soon as I said I was there from out of town on business he became very friendly. I might give it another chance, but I wasn’t excited about it.

On a cold typical London day, you just want to get a hot cup of something. I’m so glad that my sister and I went into this café (I think this might be the only café nearby) by Westminster Abbey to get myself a cup of hot chocolate and my sister a cup of hot tea. This quaint café had teas, coffee, pastries, beverages, and deli sandwiches. It’s small with high tables and chairs inside. The person running the place was pleasant and friendly.
