I’m usually a fan of Caffe Nero but not a great experience on this visit. Came in on a Sunday morning and it was not particularly busy. Only one person in front of me but only one barista on the floor. For 2 cappuccinos it took over 5 minutes and when we got them, they tasted a bit bitter. With the time it took to get the two drinks, I didn’t want to say anything so I sucked it up and drank it. The double chocolate chip cookie was a sweet ending to a bitter coffee. They have a bit of outdoor seating located on a lovely corner in Kensington which is a great way to people watch and pass the day!

Le Caffe Nero de Gloucester Road… Mon petit plaisir lorsque je passé dans le coin!
Cette chaîné de cafés est très présente dans toute la ville, mais celui-​ci est mon favori.
L’ambiance y est reposante, les fauteuils et canapés en cuir sont aussi vieux que confortables, le personnel est gentil, la salle n’est pas trop grande, bien éclairée et la terrasse est sympa.
Cela sent le p´tit déj toute la journée en ce lieu, c’est doux et réconfortant.
Mon pêché mignon est leur chai latte au lait écrémé avec cannelle. Pas trop sucré et bien mousseux sur le dessus, il vous réveille en douceur avant d’arpenter les rues londoniennes.
Amélie Poulain aurait pu ajouter ce petit délice à la liste de ce qu’elle aime…

We loved this place and kept stopping in for breakfast. The couches were comfy. The coffee and tea was good. But we loved the pastries and the egg sandwiches. I’m still dreaming of my egg and ham sandwich for breakfast. The place also has outdoor seating which was nice.

Nice little café with outdoor seating. Situated on a corner too — so it’s a nice location to sit and people watch. A quick walk from Gloucester Road station.
The coffee was good. Not exceptional, but good. I had an iced latte and my husband had a hot mocha latte. I would definitely visit this café again.
