We have a selection of 18 artists at any given moment, with affordable prices ranging from £65 to £316. This means over a 1,000 unique and original artworks in our gallery to choose from.
Our aim is to shake up the traditional rules of the art world, Carré d’artistes presents each of our artists on an equal footing by offering their paintings in four set choices of dimension and price. Consider it the Prix Fixe for Art. No prints, no copies. Each piece is an original artwork.
Carré d’artistes supports up to 200 artists from around the world giving them the opportunity to exhibit in over ten major European cities and to greatly increase their exposure to the public. A new artist is introduced into our London gallery selection of twenty every two weeks so each visit offers a new experience and choice.
The display space of Carré d’artistes is designed to allow you browse the artwork comfortably and at ease. Our philosophy: Make contemporary Art accessible to all. Simple!
History
Established in 2001.
The first Carré d’artistes opened in the south of France in Aix-en-Provence. Since then the concept has flourished. Expanding to over ten galleries in Europe, with our first London gallery opening in 2010.
Our concept is focused on promoting talented contemporary artists, while aiming to ensure our Art is accessible to everyone.
Carré d’artistes has won a number of awards for its novel concept and entrepreneurial approach to an otherwise conservative Art world.
Meet the Manager
Leontia R.
Manager
Our Gallery Manager, Leontia, with an experience of both working in Art galleries in France as well as her time spent supporting artists as a PR manager and artist promoter believes passionately in our quest to bring our artists to a new audience.
Leontia shares her passion for contemporary Art with the rest of the team in the gallery, Alexa, Victoria, Marina, Bairbre and Philip.
All of the team look forward to sharing their enthusiasm and knowledge of the artists work with you when you have a chance to visit us at the gallery.
