History
Established in 1714.
Christ Church Spitalfields was built between 1714 and 1729. Situated five minutes from Liverpool Street, the 300 year old Grade I building was originally designed by renowned British architect Nicolas Hawskmoor.
Undergoing a £10 million award-winning restoration process in the 1970s, Christ Church Spitalfields Venue was beautifully restored to its original Georgian grandeur. It boasts one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture through its exterior façade and interior design.
Today the building is used as an active Church as well as a unique and versatile space to hold corporate, private, charity and community events.
