Citizens Advice Bureau

I hate to say it, but if you can access the Internet, a trip to this CAB office may be a waste of your time. I had high hopes for the CAB services. Free legal advice… hey, what do I have to lose? They were friendly and I only waited about 30 minutes, even without an appointment. However, the advisor I met with, bless her, just pulled all the legal advice for me off the Internet right in front of me.
Yeah, I knew everything she told me already, from the research I did the night before on CAB’s own advise website:
The questions that I wanted answers to, the advisor had no clue on… because it wasn’t on her screen, I suppose. I’m not sure if all the advisors there are trained to do that or if I just had bad luck, but I was a bit dumbfounded to sit there and have her read off all the answers from the website I used the night before.
