Been to Coco Momo a few times as next to my work, it seems to be the place to be seen, as it is next to Emerald Street. The only thing I got from it was that it was a tad expensive for food and drinks, the drinks were ridiculous for say a pint of diet coke, as they only had bottles so had to pay for that. The food is nouvelle cuisine style, so less is … less. I’d go again but if only if it was with work and I could expense it as there are better places to go eat and drink a short walk away on Lambs Conduit.

I went to a birthday party that a friend of mine had hired the place put for. Of course I do not know the costings, but can say that we all had a great time. The service was excellent, really friendly and nice. The décor and staff are cool and trendy. The food is nicely made and enjoyable, although not remarkable. I think it might be how they cooked the main course, as the starter salad was superb? Also the deserts were good but probably made earlier and so were okay but not amazing. So all in all we had a great time and left with good memories which is why I give it 5 stars.

I went to the Coco Momo for a Sunday breakfast And ordered a waffle. It was a bit pricey since it was about 7 – 8 pounds and it did not have much on it but it was worth it. The service was ok but it was busy that day. I liked the old and new books they put around and they were free to read. The drinks were standard and the glasses were Cristal clear. No grot at the bottom of the cup(I’m a big picky when it comes to these things). All in all I think I will go back there again even if it was a bit pricey and I think its worth it!: P

I’ve been to Coco Momo a few times for various school events, because it’s right around the corner from campus and is a nice place to get a good dinner and a drink. It’s always been quite nice there, but nothing that really stands out from the two times I have been there. The first time, I went and had a salad and it was pretty good. The second time I just had chips and a pint. Both times, service was pretty good. The general atmosphere is nice, I think it lends itself to a higher level of customer than a traditional pub, though in some ways the concept is quite similar. Overall, Coco Momo is probably somewhere I will go back to, because it’s in a good location and does things just right. It’s not the kind of place you seek out, but you can count on a good experience when you go in.

AVOID. I was excited to try this restaurant — it looks so cute and quaint — but after having lunch with friends, I’m determined to persuade everyone to avoid it at all costs. The salmon salad I ordered turned out not to be a salad, and the salmon itself wasn’t even cooked all the way through! They should have mentioned on the menu that the salmon was going to be «seared» or whatever, it’s not nice to expect customers to be okay with semi-cooked fish without telling them the manner of preparation. I have issues with raw food and prefer to know prior to ordering! Also, everyone else seemed not too thrilled with their lunch, so I’m not alone on this negative review.

Their coffee is ok, but nothing to fall in love with, however they surprised me with a roast chicken on a cold day when i really needed a nice meal and it’s was pretty good the service is good and i do enjoy an orange juice and a toast with jam there.

Have I mentioned Im not the biggest fan of chains? That in mind, set up a group dinner for classmates at the end of term. Twas painless. Called a week in advanced told them the group number and made all the necassary arragements. Wasn’t orgasmically amazing but for 12 quid a head it was pretty great. Went back for a quick lunch. Great lunch menu option and decent meal. For the the cheap price and good help, i would frequent this place.

I come here for the prix-fixe menu because their lamb steak is quite nicely done, and excellent value. Do note that you have to put up with brusque service and variable wait times for food — sometimes it’s very quick, sometimes I’m waiting for 30+ minutes for starters. Luck of the draw! Prices are quite steep for the quality of food served which is why I only ever order from the £12 for two courses section. I’m not a scrooge when it comes to food, so I think that says a lot! PS: Coco Momo in Marylebone is cheaper and cozier as well… just a tip!

I came here for lunch and was served an awful salad of tired lettuce leaves scattered with a few scraps of bacon. For ten quid, I expect better. The service was also quite poor, especially considering it wasn’t at all busy(I guess for god reason). I won’t be returning for another meal.

Part of the Coco Momo chain, but a much welcome addition to this no-man’s land for a proper breakfast/lunch/after-dinner work drinks. They offer a reasonable lunch special of a pick 2 from soup /sandwich/wrap combo(6 quid). They have a full menu with salads, sandwiches, mains and burgers. The burger was tasty and came with very good chips(about 10 quid). They also have all-day breakfast – beautifully poached eggs florentine, royale, and benedict were coming out of the kitchen for lunch. Also have a happy hour and some outdoor seats in the summer. Nice atmosphere, ok service, good American style food, fairly priced for what it is.
