Well, the room actually surprised me, as the stairs carpet walking up to the first floor looks dreadful. Large room spotlessly clean. Room road side, which meant very noisy traffic. Bizarrely TV on screen instructions in German? Not sure it will be my first choice to stay again, but then it is just for business.

My husband stayed here for three of our 10 days in England for our honeymoon. The room was small, but sufficient for what we needed — just a place to sleep. The private bathroom was clean and the shower wasn’t huge but decent. The hotel itself is a little tired and could use some updates. Breakfast is included, but it’s nothing special — yogurt, cold cereal, a few different types of bread, coffee and juice. WiFi is not free, but you can purchase it in blocks of time. I think we purchased 4 hours for £4. You log in and out of the wifi access and it lets you know how much time you have remaining. So if you buy 4 hours, you actually get to use the full 4 hours versus it being on set 4-hour window of time. The lift was TINY, so it was hard two squeeze our 2 pieces of luggage and ourselves inside when we first arrived, but after that we just used the stairs. The staff was OK. We didn’t find them particularly friendly, but they weren’t rude either. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Bakerloo line and 15 minutes from the Hammersmith & City, Circle and District lines. It’s also surrounded by several options for Middle Eastern cuisine. For the location and the fact that we had a private bath, it was a pretty good value — we paid about 160/night USD.

Slept here for a few nights during the NFL Wembley weekend. Hotel construction is old. This is clearly a budget hotel. Room was warm and clean. Walls are paper thin so if you get noisy neighbors you’re screwed! I was lucky :) Breakfast is normal but there are no cold meats. Chocolate muffin was very good :) Outside you have a few shops and late night restaurants(KFC), the tube is also walking distance so is the several bus stops that will take you to the city center. Overall a nice stay but nothing fancy.

Me and my girlfriend stayed for 2 nights as London tourists. Although the location is farther out than most tourist hotels, it worked out great. The bus stop right outside worked out amazingly, per the hotel front desks advice. They were great the whole stay. The whole place has a weird scent to it, but nothing over the top. Breakfast was good. Cereal, toast, and other basics, just enough. Only real negetive is if you were to walk through the area… Not the greatest location in terms of comfortability. Nonetheless, the bus can avoid this. Would recommend it to anyone.

We needed a room for one night near Paddington Station, and found this one online. Very small rooms(there was about a foot walking room on either side of the bed), and the bathroom was tiny as well. The size of the room shouldn’t be a surprise for the value-end of the hotel spectrum. Breakfast was a sparse continental. Staff were pleasant enough. The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained, just small. Edgeware Road itself is pretty busy, so we heard a lot of traffic noise. All in all, a place to sleep for the night or a quick weekend away. Not sure I’d make this a destination hotel.
