You probably heard me scream when the water in the shower got cold, but first some other things: — free wifi only applies when your reservation is made through their own website — complimentary breakfast is very basic and in the basement which makes it all very depressing looking — there’s also rooms in the basement which means the rooms are very dark — to get into the hotel you also have to use your hotel key which, I think, is very impractical. Especially when it’s cold out and the key only works after the 7th try — ANDYES, MYSHOWERTURNEDCOLDAFTERNOTEVENSHOWERINGFOR3MINUTES The hotel is clean though and very centrally located. Staff seems fairly friendly but maybe that’s just British behaviour. Comfort Inn isn’t what the name makes it seem like.

Not bad place to hang your hat. Tiny rooms — ok I know — all of London is like that. Definitely ask for the recently renovated rooms. Bathroom always clean, staff kept it up nicely. Front desk staff are super attentive — not like some of the Comfort Inn’s in US. ;)

Comfortable and clean. We stayed here on vacation for 7 days while we saw the sights. I specifically chose this hotel because of the proximity of the tube station that was literally less than 3 minutes walking distance and paying attention to budget. We were not in the hotel much, only to sleep. The desk staff was courteous. The hotel was very clean considering its low price. The only issue was the elevator and stairs. Is it just me or is everything more condensed in London? Elevator was extremely small. My mother and I who are petite could barley fit with just one suitcase. We both had to make two trips.

Surprisingly comfortable hotel especially as expectations were not particularly high. I was travelling solo so had a single room which actually had two single beds. Perfectly adequate and quite cheap. Breakfast was in a very small room and was continental only but, for the rate, no complaints from me. I will probably come back on future trips to London (BTW, Travel tip — One major benefit for me was that there is a direct local train from Gatwick Airport to St. Pancras which, if you’re going to this part of town, is not only a lot(a lot!) cheaper but also a much faster trip from the airport as you don’t have to change from the Gatwick Express to the tube. St. Pancras/Kings Cross is literally a stone’s throw away. and the trains are very regular)

The Comfort Inn at Kings Cross is a nice change of pace from the other hotels in the area. While being one block from the Kings Cross Underground Station, the location of the hotel makes for much less noise and crowds then the hotels directly facing the station. The employees were all very helpful and friendly, providing information on transport and taxi services. We stayed in a room with twin beds on the second floor. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was a flat screen tv with cable, and complimentary biscuits were provided each day in the room. Breakfast was also included, and is served each morning from 7:30 — 9:30. The only downside of this Comfort Inn is that is is not very handicap accessible, should that be a concern. Overall our stay was very pleasant, and I would recommend it to others coming to London for a short stay.

My father is a world traveller. He likes to visit all different countries with his lovely wife Di. He comes to visit me every year in the summer and sometimes brings along our family friend Doris. When my father told me he was staying here in Kings Cross I was a bit negative, as the girlfriend hates Kings Cross for it’s old school rep as being the pit of tramps. This is precisely why I love it. This hotel was very basic but has aircon and a lift which was needed for our friend Doris. I saw their room. It was small but decent with a tiny wardrobe and normal bath. They had no problems staying here and enjoyed Kings Cross transport links.
