Counselling and Therapy in Swiss Cottage London Nw3 with Ben

Here we are in a sombre part of Swiss Cottage, the Finchley Road bull-​dozing its way through the smear of grey buildings and coffee chains, the abject ordinariness of the place sucking you of all will but then, what’s this? By the tube station exit? Food stalls! Like a mini-​version of Borough Market, 10 or so stalls huddle together, each one representing a different country’s cuisine — Brazilian, Portuguese, Indian, French etc. It’s street food stuff and authentic, each stall owner seemingly from the country they are representing in cuisineunless they’re just good at accents.
OK, I didn’t know what half the food wasbut it looked good and what I had tasted great — some Brazilian stuffed fried bread thing. And the best thing? There’s no one around! I went Saturday lunchtime and there was just a smattering of bewildered people so access to food was immediate!
And the worst thing? There’s no one around! These cute little stalls aren’t going to last much longer! In the half hour I spent there, they sold enough food to appease a couple of ants.
So go before the owners realise there’s more cash in Iceland than round their stalls.
