I don’t have a bike anymore but that’s entirely due to my laziness in applying correct locking procedures and nothing to do with the guys at the Cycle Surgery. I think I only had one or two dealings with them but on each occasion they were fantastic. They sorted out the gear problem that I had right then and there — it was during the day and quiet but still. It was no fuss, non car mechanic style and ultra efficient.
Of course these fellas also sell bikes, loads of them. This isn’t the place to come if you’re looking for a vintage/​retro/​custom made/​unique piece but if you just want a good one, high spec, suitable for the quick getaway from a bendy bus or a policeman. They’re really keen for more people to get on their bikes here and it shows. Plenty of passion.
