Established in 1995, D Mackie Design is one of the leading interior design companies in the UK voted by House & Garden Magazine (2009). We specialise in sophisticated and eclectic residential interiors.

Douglas studied architecture at Cambridge University and qualified with a diploma in 1988. For every interior he combines this architectural background and deep knowledge of the history of interiors with a passion for furniture, art and textiles.

Our key objectives for each project are first, to ensure a unique collaboration between client and designer and second, to interpret and enhance our clients tastes. The results, as our portfolio demonstrates, are interiors with individual flair and style.
