Decent tube stop. Strange to be reviewing one of those. It’s no piccadilly circus or Cockfosters(tee hee), but it’s easy to access and easy to navigate. It’s not stupid like covent garden. Strange that the station is underground on the overground, but I don’t ask questions about things like that.

And after 501 reviews I find myself reviewing a tube station. Is this a sign that I need to try more places? Yes, yes I think it is. Anyway, it’s not just ANY tube station. It’s mine! 4 mins from my house and in one ‘East London line transforming into Overground’ swoop, I am now in a well connected area of London. I mean, who knew getting about could be SO easy? I can be in Shoreditch or Whitechapel in mins, South East London(I know, I know, «why would you go there» I hear you say? But I have a friend there — I do try to keep visits to a minimum), I can connect with the victoria in one direction and the DLR and Jubilee in the other — the possibilities are ENDLESS* It’s quite a big station though with a rather unnecessarily sized bus station at the rear that I have to walk through that only serves one bus(of which there are one or two an hour). This area has become the go to place for skateboarders in the area due to it’s lack of traffic and nice smooth surfaces. My biggest moan though is that slowly increasing ramp off Dalston Lane, it gets wet when it’s raining and becomes so slippery I look like Bambi trying to walk up it. *maybe not endless exactly…

Have already reviewed this station, on another page. Think i created a dud page by mistake, opps! So anyway, great station! Big, bright, spacious, regular trains to Highbury & Islington & also the other direction: SE London. Quick journey to Shoreditch & surrounding areas. For when I am feeling lazy. Awesomeness in the form of a train– Overground!
