We are an independent community health store in the heart of Battersea’s Northcote Road.

Established in 1989 we strive to maintain the atmosphere and service that a traditional small store provides whilst providing our customers with a wide product range at competitive prices.

Located at the heart of South London’s Northcote Road Dandelion offers a wide range of services from detailed nutritional advice from our knowledgeable staff to a luxurious face cream or just dropping in for a delicious, healthy lunch from the Dandelion Deli counter we can offer something to on the journey to better health for everybody!

Many find their way into this industry through a degree of ill health or self-​exploration; for me, it’s been both.

As a customer of Dandelion for 7yrs and a part-​time assistant for 6yrs, buying Dandelion in 2008 was the obvious next step! For me it has been a fabulous move that has felt like ‘coming home’.

My younger years were filled with sport but in tennis I played to a County level and found myself ranked in the top 8 nationally. This led to a tennis scholarship at San Diego State University allowing me to attain a business degree whilst competing. However, a shoulder operation cut short that career and I returned to an office job for six years with one company.

With a re-​assesment of life’s priorities I became a mature ‘serial’ student, studying massage and nutrition in all my spare time. Finally in 2001, self-​employment beckoned and I taught tennis, salsa dancing and built my main business in massage/​nutrition.

I hope you find Dandelion welcoming, caring and a place.
