Massively over priced, cakes are as expensive as starters in other places! High service charge(ask for it to be removed). Dirty tables. Service slow, considering there was hardly anyone there. Basically, a café in a very convenient location, where there are very few other places to eat, that overcharges and under achieves because it can. Avoid.

Over-priced. Wasted my time and money. We went during peak hours and half of the things had already got over. Staff is careless and lost in their own world. We ordered a vegetarian and Parma ham sandwich, the bread was stale and tasted really bad. We are never wasting our time here again.

I have been to Del Aziz a few times now with my group of mums and their babies but also with my husband before/after swimming at the leisure centre. I am annoyed with management at Del Aziz. They have such a great location, venue size and good décor with a lot of traffic from people using the gym and other facilities in the Swiss Cottage area but I feel both food and service should be much better. The wide array of cakes on display that you can see from the outside look good and inviting but do not taste as good as they should and the counter inside although big should offer more options and a more flexible menu than at present, as I always find I have to compromise somehow. Service is also too slow. Although I like the fact that you are not rushed to finish your meal and literally you can take as long as you want in there staff should be more responsive and attentive to people’s needs and aware if on the other hand YOU are in a rush to leave. Once I decided to buy some take away sandwiches since I did not have much time and that as well took over half an hour!

I really enjoy this little hidden Gem. There are only a few places to eat around Swiss Cottage and you might overlook this place as its hidden in the Community Centre. But the bakery selection is rather unavoidable upon entry and the seating is really cosy, with large chunky wooden tables and chairs and overlooking the swimming pool. I am just a little annoyed by the price, although we are in the vicinity of Hampstead, Belsize park and St. John’s Wood, so I probably shouldnt be THAT surprised. I’ve popped in a few times this year and its always been lovely though, so I will return.

Definitely the nicest brunch/lunch place around Swiss Cottage. They have a deli-like glass counter where you can see the various cold cuts, salads, dressings, etc. Sandwiches are pretty reasonably priced, around £5−7 for a decent size. The onion marmalade that comes with the ham sandwich is excellent! They’re not too anal so you can ask for replacements to make your perfect sandwich if you want. Would definitely recommend going for something fresh like a sandwich or a pasta combination over the traditional english breakfast. I think that dish is pretty average and similar in caliber to many other places, not its specialty! There’s also a huge selection of baked goods on the left side of the café that range from cheesecakes to very chocolatey cakes. If you’re someone who needs an incredibly greasy, oily, cheesy, HUGE meal as a hangover cure on a Sunday morning, go for the«frying pan.» It looks like heart attack in a pan but delicious. Also, weekends get pretty crowded with families bringing along their children, so expect quite a bit of noise!

This is the best place for breakfast in the whole vacinity. It’s a nice café, with really good food. They have an array of food including cakes, pastires, sandwiches and hot stuff. All the things I’ve stated have been very nice. The service is pretty good and it’s a nice relaxed café atmosphere. Whether you fancy coffee and cake, a healthy breakfast/fry up or a sandwich then i’d recommend dropping into this place.

Cafes in leisure centres are almost always rubbish, soulless places serving over-fried or microwaved food. Del Aziz is the complete opposite — the café in the Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre offers fresh food, great cakes and it’s great to watch the swimmers as you eat. Crowded on the weekend — especially with young families — so worth booking if there’s more than a couple of you going.

This place is pure awesomeness! Can you go to your local café for breakfast, lunch, coffee, take away, chit-chat and lounging on their sofas, wifi, dinner, live jazz or to buy funky teas… didn’t think so You really couldn’t wish for more from a café and I love it even more because they are in the same building as my super-cool gym, so if i want to reward myself after that dreadful treadmill it’s at my service with the great selection of fresh deli, Mediterranean cuisine, huge cakes(and I mean humongous) and ice cream perfect for cool, young and casually affluent ;p

The fresh juices/smoothies are really good and not too expensive The food is a bit of a hit and miss but I give extra stars for rose marmalade and the freshly baked apricot walnut bread The cheesecake is very good also, not as good as the NY cheesecake but one of the best I’ve had in London cafés. service is bit erratic and it takes a while to be noticed If you don’t like children, avoid saturdays and Sundays
