My friend lured me here with the promise of «the best brownie I’ve ever eaten» and I cannot deny the intense, chocolatey goodness of the brownie that I enjoyed at this little café. I am once again at a loss to tell you whether or not the coffee is good, since I don’t drink it. But they have an excellent selection of teas and herbal infusions. It’s tucked away in a quiet street in Southfields, so the atmosphere is super low-key, with mums/nannies and their prams making up most of the clientele.

Perfect location for this hybrid of a boutique chocolatier and coffee shop. In the short time it has been open it has become the spiritual home of the Sunday morning Wimbledon Park yummy-mummy and seems to always be disproportionately busy for such a quiet residential road. The coffee, provided by my favourite coffee distributer; hasbean, is served with a little example of how good the chocolate is on the side. Pretty difficult to leave without buying some more to have at home as it simply melts in the mouth. Of course there has to be a downside — it can get pretty busy and sitting inside is a little cramped, especially when half the clientele are under 5 and do insist on bringing their pushchairs.
