We stopped in here for a drink before we went into the cathedral. They had a great selection of drinks and fine food starters. Service was great and the crowd was as well. Lunch crowd can be busy so Beware.

Great spot for after work drinks. As it borders St Paul’s garden it located well. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere inviting.

Very modern bar in the shadow of St Paul’s. An after work or just nipping out for a coffee haunt for nearby office drones. Also used for small corporate get togethers with wine and nibbles. Not really a destination, but it might be a place that you are not unhappy to be in.

Nice little wine bar near St. Paul’s. Contemporary décor, with a nice bar or a view out onto the street, depending where you sit. Decent wine list, and a nice selection of small plates. We had the sampler of three, including chicken satay, sausage and shrimp, all of which were very good. Right near the Underground stop, which is a plus.

Early evening on a weekday(obviously), 5.30pm and what a buzz. Lots of young, and a few older, city folk enjoying themselves. mostly wine drinking, and generally bottles rather than glasses. but they’re good at arithmetic and know its more economic than glasses. Great wine selection, plenty of other drinks. Unless you hate people in suits, it’s a fun place to be. Hardly Wetherspoons prices, but it just feels right. Large bar downstairs, but hardly in use when I was there.

We popped in for a night cap on a wednesday night to discover that there was live music. A fantastic atmosphere for a stuffy city bar on a mid week evening. We are going to go back next week! It would be great to see more places like this in the city!
