History
Established in 2014.
Matt Caranante founded Doggit upon moving to London in early 2014.
Matt’s background of being part of the Advanced K9 Detectives in New York (USA), providing the service of Bed Bug Sniffing Dogs, as well as being captain of the Pitbulls Are Loving program, whilst at volunteering at the Liberty Humane Society gave him the motivation to start his first Dog Training business. Let’s Play! Dog Training was extremely successful in the New York/New Jersey area and provided solutions to countless thankful dog owners.
When an offer was presented to his wife that included a move to London, Let’s Play! transformed into Doggit, and now Matt provides Londoners with his unique brand of fun, effective and convenient dog training solutions.
Meet the Business Owner
Matt C.
Business Owner
Growing up in New York, there was always a dog in Matt’s home. From Rocky the hyper mutt to Brutus the giant Rottweiler to Angel the sweet Lab mix, Matt learned from an early age the joy of dogs.
As an adult, Matt began volunteering at the Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City, NJ and quickly became a captain of the Pitbulls Are Loving program. It was this experience that showed Matt where his true passion lay. He began studying and training in order to become a qualified dog trainer.
Around this time, Matt joined Advanced K9 Detectives, the first company in the United States to provide the service of Bed Bug Sniffing Dogs. These specially trained dog/handler teams helped fight the bed bug epidemic in the New York City area. Matt and his dog partner Georgia conducted thousands of inspections in private homes, hotels, office buildings, shipping containers, retail stores and more.
Upon moving to London, Matt formed Doggit and now trains Londoners and their furry friends.
