Sad Euphonium Bakery. Out in the open, and no one knows you’re there.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience at an Euphonium Bakery. The staff is friendly, the pastries are fresh, the coffee is delicious, they have free Wifi and don’t mind you sitting and working. It’s pretty much everything it should be.
Which is why this one is so sad to be abandoned all alone inside the Thomas Neal Centre.
To be fair, this EB does feel a little bit more like a mall kiosk coffee stand than an actual bakery or coffee shop. It’s on the ground floor in the open surrounded by shops. But all I said above is still true, good food, drinks, comfortable seating and free wifi.
If you are shopping here, or literally in the area and want a coffee shop that isn’t packed at all, head inside, head downstairs, pull up a seat.

I was trying to find some place to sit and happened to see this shop there. I didn’t expect anything because I was only looking for a place to grap something quick.
I had a pizza and it wasn’t so impressive because it was very dry and hard.
However, the fruit cupcake there looked so nice. There was a big piece of strawberry and a couple of blueberries. I bought it to try and it was not disappointing at all! It was so light unlike most heavy-​frosted cupcakes. Still, it has that nice moist texture. I personally think it is the best cupcake that I had so far. I would recommend anyone to drop by and have a taste on their cupcake especially, if you like fruity cake. It’s worth it.

A hidden gem in Covent Garden — I was looking for a quiet place for a coffee and a light snack over the weekend and was struggling to think of somewhere to escape the mad queues of people, waiting for the opening of the new Apple Store (yes, I was one of the mad people…). I wandered into the Thomas Neal Centre and came across Euphorium Bakery — it was perfect, no-​one else around!
I managed to get a coffee and a slice of banana and walnut loaf, which was good. Next time I’m in the area and looking to escape for a while, I’ll be sure to come here!

The newest location for Euphorium Bakery is probably the most unique. Located in the basement of the Thomas Neal Center in the Seven Dials area of Covent Garden, there is almost something American about the food-​court feel of this indoor shopping center.
With a (currently unmarked) entrance on Shorts Gardens and access through the Thomas Neal Center entrance off of Earlham Street, this location of Euphorium Bakery is a bit hidden — but once you find it, HEAVEN.
From loaves of bread, to pizza, to the usual delicious elcairs and tarts you’ve come to expect from Euphorium, this location may look differnent from the others, but the treats taste just the same.
Plus, there is free WiFi, people. Cake? Coffee? Pizza? Free WiFi? WHAT MORE COULD YOU POSSIBLE ASK FOR? (Well, there’s probably a lot more you could ask for, such as marshmallows and fairy dust in your coffee, but I hear rumours they’re working on that…)*
