FED is a brand new concept restaurant offering authentic, traditional Italian cuisine with the objective of bringing the nutritional importance of pure water to the public conscience. FED promotes a new alkaline Mediterranean diet that encourages healthy living while also appealing to the most discerning foodies!
FED is a ‘healthy express’ gourmet restaurant in the heart of Dalston. We serve authentic Italian pizzas, pastries and an array of delicious, homemade dishes from 11am to 11pm; all in our modern, warmly welcoming Mediterranean setting. Our food is lovingly crafted daily on site. We bake our own focaccia bread, pizza bases and shortbread — we even make our own custard!
Food can be eaten on site or taken away; and soon we will be offering home/work deliveries; as well as the option of a complete catering service for larger parties — because we know how busy you are!
FED also runs The Aperitivo session every day from 6 to 9pm. Aperitivo is a popular social happening in Italy — the idea is to share an evening of food and drinks with friends without the usual cost associated with eating out.
With £10 get your drink and eat as much food as you want from a selected menu including pizza, calzoni, focaccia, salads and chef’s specials prepared exclusively for the event.
Specialities: pizza, calzoni, lasagne, parmigiana, gâteau, salads, vegan selection, vegetarian selection, pastries, tarts and pasticciotto (a particular shortbread pastry made in Lecce, South of Italy).

We believe that it is time for a revolution in food culture and that our focus needs to be realigned to consider the nutritional factors, health implications and environmental impact of what we put into our bodies. Our concept is not tokenism. The intensity and pace of modern living, along with its countless distractions has brought about a culture increasingly demanding of instant gratification. This means that we continually and unknowingly forsake the quality that is the basis of a good life. This quality is born from simple things; and fundamental to everything is water; not least the human body.
