At the Door: The bouncers are impolite. They turn men away for being even slightly intoxicated, which doesn’t make sense since this club is a place to go when the neighborhood pubs have closed. Anyone who’s been at the pubs will have been drinking. I paid 12£ to get in. Inside: spacious. Familiar hip hop played by DJ. Average drink prices. Good atmosphere. Menacing unfriendly bouncers visible everywhere, but drink until you don’t feel their scowls and you might have fun.

Against my better judgement, I found myself in this lovely place again. It was a double birthday and Putney was chosen as the location for us to celebrate in style. Fez being the only club in Putney, it was pretty obvious we were returning. 45 minutes of queueing and 3 of our party getting refused entry(over 21s policy, I was actually happy with this) I parted ways with £15(WHAT?!) and entered the downstairs dungeon… again. This time was actually much more fun, maybe it was because everyone was in the mood for a good old dance. The light up dancefloor, whilst still sticky and ull of broken glass, didn’t fuss me as much. I even went as far as paying £8 for a jagerbomb(I then decided against spending anymore money in this place!) It was packed(1 in 1 out gave us the 45 minute wait) but the music was good, the vibe was brilliant and it was open until 4, so a perfect place to dance the night away. My last review gave this place the pitiful 1 star, I revise that now… take off 2 stars for the wait time and the price, 1 more for the sticky floor and the girl with really high heels on that kept standing on my friend’s foot. You’re getting there, Fez!

Fez is a little over priced but its a nice little hangout when you want to stay close by to home. I’ve had a few good nights here. The musics always good .

Average. Overpriced, yes, but what do you expect? Friendly cloakroom staff, bouncers need to work a bit harder on being welcoming. Dance floor funky, if a little retro.

I don’t mind paying a tenner on the door to get in if it’s good inside. Sadly, I was disappointed and wasted my money. I could barely get a drink as they were barely any bar staff and when I finally did get onto the dancefloor with my drink, there was a crunching feeling under my feet. I looked down to see a huge heap of pills that had been scattered across the dance floor. Obviously as it’s a club, drugs will get in, but for them to be so blatantly EVERYWHERE was pretty ridiculous. I left after that.

Grumpy security at the queue. Pricey to get in. Drinks were average priced. They only play top 40 cheesy hits. It’s a meat market. On the plus side… they had a light up dance floor!

I usually don’t like clubs that much, but for some reason I had a great time at Fez. I was a little disappointed with the extortionate £14 entrance fee(considering most clubs on the King’s Road are only £10), but I suppose since it’s pretty much the only option in the area they know they can get it. You won’t get much house music at this place — it’s mostly Top 40/hip hop, but that’s actually the way I like it. Other than that it’s hot, sweaty, with lots of broken glass on the floor, but that’s what you get at a London club late at night when everyone is wasted. I’d go back with the right group of friends, but you have to be in the mood to dance.

Bouncer on the door is a bit of an arse unless you have ‘chest’ and are wearing a very short skirt. drinks are cheaper on thursday nights. Friday and Sat get way too rammed. So much so you can’t really dance and would spend up to 30 mins to go for a cigarette.

Wow. How to describe fez? Note to those reading this — you need to be very drunk to go here. If you are with friends who love stupid music, a lit up dance floor and quite ££ drinks then this is the place for you. Ladies — never go without a boy. Too many old horrid men who will try and talk to you. Yuck! No need.

I might be slightly older than the usual clubbers that go here. My review should still count I hope. I didnt plan to go here but at the end of a St Patricks Day pub crawl thats where we ended up. I was told inside by a girl who was eyeing my guinness hat up and down that her and her friends had to remove all of their St Pats merchandise and put it in the cloak room before coming in. Ahhhh we were told that our jackets on the floor were a bomb threat and we were to put them into the cloak room.. At a price of course. Sneaky? very! They looked in my bag when we came in but not under my hat where I could have hidden anything under 6 foot tall. Next time I know to put my jacket in there and save a couple of pounds. Its pretty nice inside and the dancefloor is staight out of «Saturday night Fever» The music is clubby of course. It wasnt too busy when we first got there but it filled up quick after everything else closed. The staff all looked bored behind the bar and watched the patrons on the dancefloor doing their thing. The cloakroom girl looked so dishevelled Im surprised she was allowed in. The bouncers were all good guys surprisingly. The clubbers were mostly young and male. Trying to get themselves a cougar.(i still got it) … A lady alot older than everybody was dancing with her reflection in the mirror. couples dirty dancing. The usual suspects. I think its not a bad place if thats your thing and I had a good time in there.

Let’s not beat around the bush, it’s rubbish and expensive but at least it’s open past midnight! It’s like £10−15 on the door, full of perves and grannies… or worse still Pervy grannies, but you get drunk, you want to stay local and fez is basically your only choice No doubt one too many lemonades will take me there in the not too distant futur

My God … this place is still trading? I cannot believe this rotten dive is still staggering on, like fifteen rounds of a Rocky movie, it will not be knocked out. Your enjoyment of the evening is set by the volume of alcohol you have imbibed before falling through the doors to hell. Take a long hard look at yourself in the toilet mirror before you enter, and tell yourself: don’t do it! You’ll thank me in the morning.

Phew, the Fez club. Often have I found myself at the end of the night dragging myself in here, dodging fights and expensive drinks at the bar. That said, it does have a dancefloor which lights up, giving the rhythms a little more kick. If you’re in Putney, well worth a visit to say you’ve been, but it wouldn’t be my first choice for a regular Friday night venue.

The Fez is a great little nightclub in the Putney area. It all takes place within a styling, medium-sized venue packed with leather seating, nicely lit bars and a 70s-styled lighted dance floor. The music is crappy to average, with some of the pretty ladies on the dance floor even squealing«it’s my song!» when the DJ plays Radio One’s flavour of the week. This place looks after it’s female attendees in terms of music and atmosphere, and as a result it’s nearly always busy. Weekends especially are packed at the Fez nightclub and its tiny entrance ensures all you see is a long snake of well-dressed people disappearing into the wall. Thursday nights are surprisingly good when the crowd’s general age tips towards a little older. If you really feel like it, you could attend a raucous student’s night on Wednesdays, but the thought of a hundred students sipping Jagermeister and getting loose to Beyonce Knowles doesn’t really appeal to me.

This club had a fantastic feel to it. The bar staff were friendly and effecient. There is never much of a queue for the bar even though the club is busy. There is a sheltered heated smoking area, which makes life easier if you smoke. The music is varied, so everyone can be satisfied.

Usually my nights here are either amazing or god-awful. It helps if you’re off your face to tolerate the glow in the dark dance floor and the amount of popped-collar polo shirts. But if you are, and you like to dance to cheesey music, this place can’t be beat in Putney. On the other hand, if you go in there sober with some mates, prepare for expensive drinks, nasty service and some horrifying sights. If you live in Putney and can afford the taxi home from some other nightspot, it’s probably best to go there. But if you’ve already had 3 bottles of vodka at home and it’s Saturday night, head straight there.

Fez is a good club and it is open until late, but the music is the same every night apart from Mondays when they have a live band. it is quite pricey for what it has to offer. The décor is interesting and exotic and the staff are lovely.

The Fez attracts the posh crowd of Putney and SW London. Think Inferno’s or Crazy Larry’s, but slightly more tolerable. The décor is pretty cool, but it does get rammed most nights. The doormen are rude and will think of any excuse not to let you in. Everyone here is either called Henry or Francesca. In the Fez’s defence, it is a fully fledged meat market. If you are looking to pull, there are few better places in London for finding a one night stand.

The Fez Club is hard to describe– it is what it is really. I neither like nor dislike Fez. It is, ultimately, a very small club in Putney that is a little too expensive to feasibly say anything good about it. Fez is one of those places where you need to be very drunk and with a good group of friends to have a good time. That sounds bad but it’s not meant to be– cheese is good sometimes!
