Photographic Repairs & Services:

Our expert technicians repair DSLR cameras, lenses and accessories from Canon and Nikon, in-​house, for photographers throughout the UK.

We are a Canon CPS Centre and for Nikon we are a Nikon Professional Service centre. Our Technicians receive training and the latest service equipment directly from Canon and Nikon.

We can carry out warranty repairs or if your kit is out of warranty we can provide an estimated service cost free of charge.

Sensor Cleaning is available same-​day for full frame and APS-​C cameras.

Camera, Lens & Lighting Hire:

We stock an incredible range of equipment, from rare specialist lenses to the latest camera bodies. With our in-​house repairs department you can be confident that all rental equipment is checked & tested.

Photographic Sales:

Informed by our unique in-​house service department and backed up by professional practice, our expert sales team are in the perfect position to advise on the right photographic equipment for you.

History

Established in 1988.

Fixation was the brain-​child of Mike Allen, previously Service Manager for Nikon UK and then for Keith Johnson Photographic (KJP), whose 30+ years of working on Nikon product make him the most experienced UK technician on Nikon F, F2 and Nikkormat series cameras. Mike was responsible for setting up Nikon’s professional service facilities at major sporting events in the early 1970’s such as Wimbledon, The British Open Golf and Formula 1 Grand Prix. His existing reputation with professionals for understanding and innovation, and his perception of the need for a dedicated service for them, persuaded him to start his own business in June 1988. The name «Fixation» was chosen to give customers an idea of our obsession with getting the job right!
