Specialties
Fluid is a popular, split-level, late-night bar & club situated in the heart of Clerkenwell. References to japanese culture are intergrated into the contemporary design, with futuristic graphics complimenting the retro, tabletop arcade games, low-level spaces and sumptuous cocktails with an eastern twist.
Specializing in mouth-watering edibles and fine audibles since 1998, Fluid continues to programme first-rate music/club nights, mid-week acoustic sessions, quizzes and film screenings, credibly holding its own, in an area known for larger venues.
Regular international name DJs feature at Fluid in addition to a talented roster of local /residents. This includes Andy Smith, Andrew Weatherall, Jimpster, Joey Negro, Luke Soloman, Poussez, Tom Demac, Phil Asher, Norman Jay and many, many more…

History
Established in 1998.
Fluid was opened by breaks DJ James Goodman in 1998. Originally from the UK, James was schooled in the far east and spent alot of time in Japan. It was this early influence of asian culture that led to James being inspired to establish a decent late night venue in London that offered both quality Sushi, drinks and musical programming.
In 1998, Fluid was one of only a handful of late night venues. In 2011 it has maintained its edge with first rate programming via head of events Alex ‘Jafar’ Taniewski, otherwise known as the man behind the Artizan Music Record label and former head of programming at the 900 capacity Neighbourhood club in West London
