Excellent English fare.
They have a variety of beers and ample seating inside and out. Could use a few more tables outside if possible.
Tried the four bird terrine which was served up nicely with cranberry sauce and warm rolls. Yum. Also had the pork loin with Yorkshire pudding, roasted vegetables. Excellent.
Other dishes I saw served up looked good too. Everyone seemed to be finishing up their plates so that’s a good sign.

Fox & Hounds is grrrrim. I appreciate the large garden in front during decent weather but the pub normally smells of sweat and urine and is frequented by some of the less pleasant denizens of the area. The toilets are just horrid, that’s the worst part of the pub. The drinks are cheap, I’ll give them that, but I’d pay a bit extra or walk a bit further for The Sun any day.
