Great place, Miles was awesome to work with. Looking forward to heading back to London and having him do another piece.
Would highly recommend him to anyone. Plus he has great taste in music which is a big plus in my book.

My wife and I came to London on a holiday. Right before our trip, we contacted Frith to see if they had any availability while we were in town. They emailed me back promptly and when we stopped in to set up an appt, they were able to give us our tattoos right then and there. Miles was our tattoo artist and he was great! He did a fantastic job and a super nice guy to chat with. I highly recommend him!

I recently had my largest piece to date inked by Jordan Teear of Frith Street Tattoo. This is by far the most artistic piece I have ever had and the one I am most pleased with. My roughly 9 inch by 4 inch black and grey piece took around 1 hour and 45 minutes of work, prefaced with about half an hour of tracing my drawing and placing the stencil. The shading was done free hand and it absolutely blew my mind. Jordan Teear is the real deal. He deserves to be one of the most in-​demand artists in the world. Just remember that good tattoos aren’t cheap and cheap tattoos aren’t good. However, it’s going to be on your body forever, so why not get the best available?
With this caliber of artist in resident at Frith Street, they will continue to be one of the top rated tattoo parlors globally.

I have only one tattoo on my body, and since it was my first, I really wanted to be sure it is somewhere reliable with talented artist.
Many of my friends and relatives recommended me Frith Street’s studio calling it one of the best tattoo places in London.
I got Stefano to draw on me and he really put me in the mood for it and calmed me down. I was expecting it to hurt more, actually and I can’t say the tattooing process was disturbing.
I’m very pleased with his work and the treatment I received.
The only flaw about this is many people find the prices a bit too high, but this is one of those things you shouldn’t complain about. The lifetime gift you get is something worth paying the price.

This place is awesome and Jordan Baxter is not only worth a fine conversation but a very talented artist!

Nearly walked right by this place! Good thing I looked down! I’m just visiting from California and wanting a tattoo whole I’m here. Thought I would pop in and see what they could do for me. Minimum charge 80 pounds… that’s about the same as cali prices although ours go by the hour, which would make it cheaper. The lady I spoke to said that once looking at the picture she would be able to tell me how much… hmmmm…that leaves alot to up the price considerably. Basically touching ink to skin is 80 then they raise it from there. Think I will look around some more before making my final decision.

This place was recommended to me by one of my friends. The artists there seem to be very professional. I liked the portfolio of Steward, there I saw a skull detailed tattoo that made me a great impression. Actually I’m going to make a new tattoo during next month. You can visit the website, because they have awesome examples of tattoos.

Came back to FST to get more work done by Stewart. Spent 5 hours in the shop. Great experience, there were many people getting some wonderful tattoos. The place has good energy and the owner Dante is first class. You can’t find a better place to get a tattoo.

I have found my new tattoo shop and would have a hard time being convinced to go anywhere else.

Get tattooed by Emiliano he rocks Traditional pure and simple. The way it should be.

Love this place packed to the top with amazing artist I did not know who to go for first. I love american Traditional so I of corse chose Emiliano Liberatori. He was friendly nice and funny and on top of that I LOVE my tattoo I will be going back in 6 weeks for more from him. The shop is full of amazing artist and nice people. Emiliano has been tattooing for 10 years and owned a shop in Roma dn learned in the states his Pinups and anything classic are really amazing. Thumbs up to Frith street Tattoo

Even though I had to wait ⁹⁄₁₀ months to get tattoo’d it was definitely worth the wait. I don’t understand how anyone can find either the clients/​artists pretentious in the slightest. They are custom tattoo artists and all their work is done to a very high standard.
Valerie has done quite a lot of work for me in the past. She is highly skilled and her knowledge of tattoos and tattoo after care is very good. She and the other tattoo artists that work there are also quite friendly and they work to a fast pace. If you are someone that is looking for an individual tattoo of the highest quality then you should check this place out. I cannot recommend this place enough

I have been reading good reviews about this place but some talked about high pretentiousness so thought I would have a look.
I got a very good impression of professionalism at this place and I ‘ve been in quite a few tattooists over the years. The girl on the desk was helpful and patient and the main thing is that the whole place is open plan so you can see the artists at work. No dark mysterious closed doors.
The artists may well be pretentious (i dont know) but take it from me, you can overlook that for a real quality job.
The prices are reasonably standard aswell.
I’ll give it 4 stars for a 1^st impression but i havent had anything done yet. If their work is as good as some say, I’ll give it 5 stars.

Tucked away in a Soho basement is Frith Street Tattoo. The studio at the forefront of London’s tattoo scene with many a hardcore ink fanatic passing through this respected establishment.
In my opinion there’s only a handful of studios in London where the employees can be described as tattoo ‘artists’ as opposed to simply tattooists and this is one of them.
They are an extremely talented bunch encompassing a range of styles and quality so high it may make you weep a little. To put the icing on a heavily tattooed cake numerous world renowned artists have been known to drop in as guest inkers, so you may just get some extra special art work.
My only criticism of the shop is that the atmosphere can be a little frosty. The cream of the tattoo scene comes with a reverse snobbery so do not, at all costs, turn up an ink virgin and ask to get some stars drawn on your face or something. You’ll most likely be met with death stares and an icy silence.

These guys are artists. They create works of art. Unique works of art, not tazmanian devils out of a flash book. Expect to have to wait a couple of weeks from making an enquiry to getting a consultation and potentially months after that for your first session. It’s expensive because they are very, very good. I had a coverup piece done by Stuart (15 hours in all!!) which cost me over a grand. It was worth every penny because no-​one would EVER know that I had some crappy towny tatts there before.
If you want it forever, you want to pay for the best.

A bit pretentious? Maybe being one of the premier centres for European tattooing causes that!

Got tattooed a while ago from Xam. He is a great tattoo artist but the overall feel of the studio is a bit pretentious. Maybe that’s more from the clientelle than the artists, who are very talented. Or maybe I went on a bad day, as I have heard nothing but good things from my friends who have been tattooed there. I especially like Valeries work, she is one to look out for

This review is as much for Frith Street as it is for Piotrek, an artist at the shop. Working with Piotrek was the culmination of years of contemplation and planning! I did my homework online because I wanted an artist who was truly an artist and Piotrek is gifted. His work is very current, so if you want a more traditional design and look… probably better going with one of the other Frith St crew who are great at those from photos I’ve seen. Piotrek is able to produce incredibly fine lines and detail. Since I had seen his work, I wasn’t nervous about the finished product. I have quite a large reproduction on my back of a painting of Jacob wrestling an angel done by Leon Bonat, a French painter. After 3 hours of pain, I was literally stunned by what I saw in the mirror after and even though it’s been almost a year I still get excited to see it in the mirror. If you want to work with Piotrek, make sure you know what you want – he’s not the most warm person. In fact, he told me I was kind of a p*ssy for not taking the pain better haha. I’m sure he was joking. He was professional though and his work is amazing. My next tattoo will be by him without question.

I came here before I even knew of Unilocal (and certainly before Unilocal UK) and lucked out in finding this fantastic little shop tucked at the bottom of a ridiculously narrow stairway. Now thanks to Claudia, and my good luck, I have a permanent reminder of my visit to London.
First things first, we were unable to get a walk-​in appointment. Always a good sign. Luckily they were able to get us in while we were in town and give us plenty of time to get what we wanted done. My design (if you want to call it that was simple. I wanted stars, three in fact, on my upper arm that I could add to as I traveled as a map of sorts. I was a bit nervous since straight lines can elude a tattoo artist and I would be several thousand miles away once home so it would be difficult to have any touch up.
Claudia calmed me down and helped me find the best placement for the stars so the stars were basically «falling» down my arm. After finding the best spots which meant moving stars a few times we got to work. Claudia made sure to take her time filling in the lines so that I wouldn’t need to come back. At the time I felt she was a little rough but since this was a while ago and the stars still look great I am very thankful for her efforts.
On my next visit to London I will surely be back to get more work done here and I can only hope that I will be lucky enough to get Claudia’s help with that.
