Three of us at a table had hamburgers. The burgers tasted odd. Don’t know what the meat mixture was but I would not recommend this.

We took a train from Paris to spend the day going around London and decided Trafalgar Square would be our last stop in our tour when we saw Garfunkel’s Restaurant. It’s two days to Christmas and we were drawn in by the Christmas tree at the entrance. Per Tony’s recommendation, we tried their red mulled wine & traditional English sticky toffee pudding. Both were excellent! Thanks, Tony. Merry Christmas!

Was in London recently and had breakfast twice at Garfunkel’s. I never at a lunch or dinner there so I can’t speak to the food, but for breakfast, the food was good, plenty, filling, and the service was very good. I had Tony as my waiter both times, and he was beyond nice, very aware, and perfect service.

This place just reconfirms the fact that food in London is not the best. For those of you from the states, this place reminds me of a typical restaurant chain not inline Olive Garden or Marie calendars. The food is mediocre and service is subpar.

Don’t go here. Slow/nonexistent service. We were seated and saw other latecomers waited on before us. Do not recommend. Go to one of many other places close by. Servers were rude as well. Snotty.

I ordered the fish and chips which were ok, the portion size was quite large though. I’d consider this restaurant on about the same level as an American Applebee’s or tgi Fridays.

Good breakfast with reasonable price, my first time here, trying to get breakfast by trafagal square, nice place to eat breakfast. Their omelet is delicious and so does their hash brown. They have unlimited coffee or hot chocolate refills for breakfast menu.

Yes this is a tourist trap on Trafalgar Square. We are American tourists. Menu looks like a British version of Applebee’s. Service was inconsistent, ranging from exceeding expectations to disinterested. Food was well prepared. The classic fish and chips with mush peas was good. Drinks are available. Is it inspirational? No. Is it a worthwhile experience of British comfort food? Yes

The food was very good, the staff however was not in the same class. We ordered their«famous» fish and chips because it is something you gotta try when visiting the UK. Our waitress was quite rude in the beginning but she came around! It is a little bit pricy since our food cost 13£ each. Nice environment with some background music but easy to hear your company. I recommend it, it is a nice place with good food.

I referred to this once I sat down as a British version of the US Friendly’s. At first I was worried about how long it would take due to the crowd and all turned out good. Got the pie and mags with broccoli and was decent. Turned out better than the reviews and not as bad as my first opinion when I arrived.

Stopped in this place as their breakfasts are £5.99 for any breakfast. I thought, hey, cheap breakfast, looks like it’ll keep me full all day! Both were right! But did it taste good? Not that awesome. As most food in London, it was a little bland. Bottom line is, if you are looking to have some amazing tasting breakfast, this is probably not the place for you. Looking for a big, inexpensive, breakfast? This is your place.

Americano coffee cup stank and porridge was tasteless! Service staff(1 man and 2 females) stared at us all the time very angrily from the bar and each time they served us they avoided to look at us!!! Hence we were scared, felt very uncomfortable and we couldn’t trust them! They should probably come from ex-Yugoslavia or Eastern Europe and that’s how they looked like! We’ve never experienced such a dangerous treatment from local people here! That’s weird and unbelievable! We were very glad to leave!

First impression it looked like a nice place to have a light bite to eat. But as the afternoon went on things just got worse. The service was terrible, our waitress would not get a job working at Mcdonalds she was so bad and the food that me and my friends ordered was discusting, so bad that we asked for a discount. We will not be coming back.
