It’s a nice neighbourhood pub, but can get really overly busy during matches. I went here for a breakfast and it was quite empty at the time apart from regulars who were all super friendly and welcoming. They have games and colouring materials for children as well. Breakfast was good but unremarkable. A typical full English, nicely cooker but nothing to write home about. They do offer unlimited coffee though, so that’s a huge plus! Overall a pleasant but unremarkable experience. Would recommend when you’re in the area but not worth a trip down if you’d have to travel to get here.

On match day, this is a Fulham season ticket holder only bar. While the Fulham fans are not the craziest that you will come up against, they are loyal, friendly and enjoy a good pint or two before our beloved Whites take the pitch. And I am no exception! As a FFC season ticket holder, I’ve been in here a time or two before the match. Pints are easy to get, relatively on the cheaper side and there is plenty of seating, both inside and out. The Golden Lion has several TV’s on so if there are earlier matches, it tends to show the highlights and updates. Loud roars will be heard here if Chelsea, Man United or Arsenal are playing poorly. «Take me home, take me home, To the place that I belong, Craven Cottage, by the river, Take me home, take me home…»
